Allison Roswell
Owner/Coach
Allison has owned Maple Lane Farms since 2015, but has worked, boarded and taken lessons at this same property for over 25 years- Allison has always had a love for horses and working with children. She enjoys all disciplines of riding and has experience in both english and western riding. Allison’s goal is to produce knowledgable, kind horseman - both on the ground and in the saddle.
Susan Battista
Day/Weekend Coach
Susan has been with Maple Lane Farms since we first opened- she is a kind and soft coach who encourages her students to be their best. Sue has been riding, showing and coaching for over 35 years and is a certified competition coach with Equestrian Canada and an EC Licensed Coach. Sue specializes in special needs riders and adults- she started our senior ladies groups and has been featured in Senior Living Muskoka.
Meghan McIntyre
Head Coach/ Trainer
Meghan has been riding for 25 years and has experience with breaking , training and restarting horses . Meghan uses a natural horsemanship approach with a focus on developing horses in a way that builds their confidence from the ground up. Meghan has a been a key part of our training - she has started all of our young horses over the past few years - she also specializes in corrective training - approaching issues by uncovering the underlying cause, not masking with harsh training, . Meghan has experience with both English and western riding and enjoys sharing her love of horses with her students !
Kortnee Jackson
Beginner Coach / Office Admin
Kortnee has been riding with us for many years, and owned horses as a child. Kortnee is our jack of all trades- she does admin, trail rides, our intro programs and is a beginner coach. Since coming back to riding full time Kortnee has taken every opportunity to gain as much experience as possible. She is a kind and knowledgable teacher, making sure her students get the most from each lesson.
