Riding Lessons

Thank you for choosing our program to grow your knowledge and love of horses. We pride ourselves on providing Muskoka residents with a safe, fun learning environment. Our goal is to have well rounded riders who enjoy their sport! We also teach our students personal responsibility on the farm. Here is an overview on what you can expect from our lesson program.

Who do we teach?

We welcome riders of all skill levels and ages! We teach english, western, and horsemanship based lessons.  Our evening and weekend lessons are geared towards group lessons, during the day we offer specialized lessons for special needs, and private lessons. Our program welcomes first time riders up to experienced riders! We also offer part board programs for our advanced riders. We have 4 coaches to suit every rider's teaching style.

What do we Teach?

We are basing our lessons each week off a “Levels Program”.

We will be teaching skills for all levels and your rider will be taught accordingly.  Within the month we will have western and english lessons ranging from stable management, ground & flat exercises, dressage & ranch riding to western games & jumping! We ride and teach in all weather conditions as we have an indoor arena that protects our horses and riders from the elements.

To keep our horses comfortable - when the temperatures are above 30º c or below -15º c, we will be teaching stable management, healthcare and other “un-mounted” lessons to our students.
